I recently purchased and read the ebook from The Rich Jerk. He shows several ways to make money on the internet, and gives examples of his own successes. Not all of them where new to me, but I did learn a lot. One of the ways he suggests is to find an affiliate product and just market it on Google AdWords. It sounds really simple, and it makes sense to me. There are products that you get more than $100 in commision pr sale, so I am definatly gonna try this out. This book is very basic and simple, it is not for you if you already know the common ways to make money on the Internet. It is definatly a book you should read if you are green on the subject and want to learn it.
My last exam this year is on Thursday, so considering my internet business and my pursuit to get rich, reading the Rich Jerk ebook is the only thing I have done so far. My studies have taken up too much of my time, but there will be a well deserved break in a couple of days. I am not gonna spend all my time at the beach and waste this summer. My plans are to launch two sites this summer, and try out some of the strategies in the book I read as well. PartyPoker (which I signed up for as an affiliate for earlier regarding one of my sites), have already phoned me twice regarding of the websites, and they are very eager to be promoted on it. They really liked the domain name, and so do I. And no, it is not a gambling site. I dont have any plans for that right now, but it may come later.

I wrote earlier this month that I had great expectations for May. My plan was to double my passive income, but I didnt do that. In May, my passive income increased to $65.00 pr month, almost six times as much as I had in April.
There are two major factors for this huge increase. Sales have picked up at Abilca.com after it got listed at a major norwegian portal, I exepct further increase in sales in June as well, and my AdSense earnings have also increased due to increased traffic. I suspect the increased traffic is a direct result of me getting more backlinks to my websites, and thus achive a higher ranking in the search engines.
$65.00 pr month is not really that much, but it is much better than $11.00 pr month. I have to start somewhere, and I started with nothing. At least it is something now, even if it is just peanuts. If I decide to go on vacation for a month, this money will come anyway. How many can say that about their paychecks.
My goal for June is to achive $80.00 in passive income. This may not be as easy as it seems as I can’t work much on new websites untill I am finished with my exams. I have three sites that I plan to create as soon as I am finished, and I think all three will run with a nice profit. If I get my marketing right, two of them have a huge potential for long-term income. I am very excited to see how this business of mine are running in a couple of years.

I apologize for the downtime, there was a lot of trouble with my previous host, and all my pages have been down for several days. I am no longer using dreamhost, and regret that I ever recommended them.
I have not created any new pages for a while as I am getting closer to my exams. It is really boring to study and read all day, but is has to be done. I have however created alot of backlinks to some of my pages. Abilca Ringtones was listed on a major norwegian portal last week, and it has affected the traffic to that page. The sales have picked up, and I look forward see the numbers at the end of the month.

When I was I kid, I used to dream about winning the lottery. I figured it was the easiest way to get rich, and I knew exactly what to spend it on. A brand new Porsche, a new boat, and a new house. The list goes on. For the sake of the argument, lets say I hit the jackpot and actually won the lottery. If I spent the money unwise and lost it all, would I be able to get it back? No, because the only way I would know how to get rich would be by winning the lottery.
The world is full of people who started with nothing and created their own luck. With empty hands, they have built big companies and gathered much wealth. They can easily rebuild their wealth if they would loose it all. And example would be Donald Trump. In 1987, he was a billionare but then the market crashed and he was nine billion dollars in debt. Today he’s worth more than five billions. His wealth is not just in money and net worth, but in his head. He has both the knowledge and wisdom of how to make money.
If I am to become a millionaire, I would have to learn from those people. That is why I read books by successful people. I could try to learn everything by myself, but then I would probably fail and go bankrupt over and over again, doing mistakes that could have been avoided. It is much smarter to learn the wisdom and knowledge by someone who alredy possess it and wants to share it.
I just finished the book “The Richest Man in Babylon” by George S. Clason, and the wisdom he shares is just incredible. This is the second book that made my recommended list, you can read more about it there and find out why I recommend this. I read alot of books, but only a few selected ones make my list.

My passive income was $11 last month, and I plan to double that now. I am submitting my web sites to link directories like a madman, and expect to get better rankings with the search engines. My philosophy is that traffic = money, and improved rankings will increase my traffic.
The current cashflow allows me to create a new web site every month. A domain name costs me $9, and HostGator allows me to have unlimited domains. The good circle has begun, as more web sites equals more revenues and stronger cashflow. All I need is a good idea for a website and I will create it.
The books I ordered from Amazon.com came yesterday and I plan to read most of them this month. I want to learn from people like Donald Trump, Warren Buffett and Robert Kiyosaki. These are people who have had tremendous success and they have an impressive track record.

My passive income has increased from $8 in March to $11 in April. Still very low, but what can you expect with an average of 15 visitors pr day on my sites. I am working on more backlinks to some of my pages, and I hope that will improve their positions in search engines over the next months.
The stocks I bought where purchased at wrong time, one day later they where down 5%. I do however still belive it is a good investment, so I will hang on to them. It still suck to have lost money, even if its only on the paper.
My plan for May is to create another website, either an affiliate webshop, or a site with static content that uses google adsense.

If you read the post below, you know where I came from. My dream is to get rich, really rich. You probably know how slim my chances are. Will the job after graduation pay me enough to become a millionaire?.
In December 2005, I realized something very important. How many employees are actually millionaires? If I followed the main stream and worked hard, would that make me rich? The answer to my questions where NO. Both my parents studied hard and graduated with good grades. They have worked hard their entire life, but have nothing else than their house (which has a huge mortage) to show for it. Why would I get a different result if I did the exact same thing as them? I had to do something different.
I spent about a day thinking before I realized that what I need to become rich was not a high paying job. I need passive income, money that comes into my pocket no matter what I do.
This is my quest, this is what I am working for. I will spend my next years to build up my asset column. Instead of buying the next computer game, or instead of going to the movies, I will take that money and invest it. It may be in stocks, real estate, it may be in a website, or whatever I think that will put money back into my pocket. I may go bankrupt by doing this, but I will take that risk. What I do promise, is that I will do my very best, and I will blog about every step I take. If I succeed and become a millionaire you will know exactly how I did it. If I fail, you will know what you shoudnt do.
Will I ever be able to sail the Mediterranean in a private yacht? I am freezing in Norway at the moment.

Since the day I was born, I always wanted to be rich. My parents told me to go to school, work hard and get good grades. Then I would get a secure job with a high salary, and my dream would come true. I was a slacker at school and didn’t get any good grades. In fact, I had the lowest grades in my entire class. The doors that once where open, where now closed by my own laziness.
After serving my mandatory military service in the Norwegian navy, I got a job as a taxi driver. It was long hours and my paycheck was low. I could see myself living in a lousy apartment with a low-paying job for the rest of my life. I envied the rich, and I wanted more money. I wanted to be financially free.
In 2004, I was accepted at a private school that teaches computer (3D Animation). It costs about $ 11000,00 pr year. I needed a government student loan to pay for this education, but I will receive a bachelor degree if I graduate.
