I was not supposed to create any new websites for a while, because of my exams. I coudnt help it, I have bought two new domains, and are in the process of building them. It is two different concepts, and I think both of them have a huge potential for an incredible income. I will call them my mystery sites for now, as I dont want to give away my business ideas before they are up and running.
My biggest challenge now is to increase the traffic to my websites. It’s called SEO, search engine optimization, and I am not doing a good job there. I know that backlinks are important for a good ranking in the search engines. People have offered to do the job for me, but this is something I have to learn to do myself. Oursourceing that job costs a lot of money, money that I am not willing to spend right now. I may outsource the SEO job later when my cashflow is stronger.

My shares did good for a period of time, I own shares in Funcom, Tomra, Scorpion Offshore and Itera Consulting. Oslo Stock Exchange went straight up from October 2005 to May 2006, but then it crashed. My shares went down with all the others, and everything I gained has been lost. I went in with about $1800 and are probably down $150 now. Its not the worst loss, but it still sucks. At least I have learned something. I have to admit that my shares in Scorpion Offshore and Itera was nothing else than gambling. I bought because two major brokeres recommended to buy, and the market pointed straight up.
I have not sold any of my positions in those companies, I plan to hold on to my shares in Funcom untill Age of Conan has been released. I will probably buy more in Funcom as well, but I have no clue what to do with my position in Scorpion Offshore. Some say the oil price will go up again, that will definalty raise the value of them. On the other hand, the stock market in Norway is really bad right now and I never know what might happend. They are down 10% since I bought, so it was definatly a bad investment.

I apologize for the downtime, there was a lot of trouble with my previous host, and all my pages have been down for several days. I am no longer using dreamhost, and regret that I ever recommended them.
I have not created any new pages for a while as I am getting closer to my exams. It is really boring to study and read all day, but is has to be done. I have however created alot of backlinks to some of my pages. Abilca Ringtones was listed on a major norwegian portal last week, and it has affected the traffic to that page. The sales have picked up, and I look forward see the numbers at the end of the month.

When I was I kid, I used to dream about winning the lottery. I figured it was the easiest way to get rich, and I knew exactly what to spend it on. A brand new Porsche, a new boat, and a new house. The list goes on. For the sake of the argument, lets say I hit the jackpot and actually won the lottery. If I spent the money unwise and lost it all, would I be able to get it back? No, because the only way I would know how to get rich would be by winning the lottery.
The world is full of people who started with nothing and created their own luck. With empty hands, they have built big companies and gathered much wealth. They can easily rebuild their wealth if they would loose it all. And example would be Donald Trump. In 1987, he was a billionare but then the market crashed and he was nine billion dollars in debt. Today he’s worth more than five billions. His wealth is not just in money and net worth, but in his head. He has both the knowledge and wisdom of how to make money.
If I am to become a millionaire, I would have to learn from those people. That is why I read books by successful people. I could try to learn everything by myself, but then I would probably fail and go bankrupt over and over again, doing mistakes that could have been avoided. It is much smarter to learn the wisdom and knowledge by someone who alredy possess it and wants to share it.
I just finished the book “The Richest Man in Babylon” by George S. Clason, and the wisdom he shares is just incredible. This is the second book that made my recommended list, you can read more about it there and find out why I recommend this. I read alot of books, but only a few selected ones make my list.

My passive income was $11 last month, and I plan to double that now. I am submitting my web sites to link directories like a madman, and expect to get better rankings with the search engines. My philosophy is that traffic = money, and improved rankings will increase my traffic.
The current cashflow allows me to create a new web site every month. A domain name costs me $9, and HostGator allows me to have unlimited domains. The good circle has begun, as more web sites equals more revenues and stronger cashflow. All I need is a good idea for a website and I will create it.
The books I ordered from Amazon.com came yesterday and I plan to read most of them this month. I want to learn from people like Donald Trump, Warren Buffett and Robert Kiyosaki. These are people who have had tremendous success and they have an impressive track record.

Since Abilca.com seems to run with a profit, I decided to create another site on the same concept. The purpose for this is as always to make as much money as possible, but I want to test for myself if a domain name with keywords in it will be favored by the search engines. It’s hard to test this with google because of the sandbox effect, but I am looking forward to the results from yahoo and msn within a couple of months. I will start the process of creating backlinks to best-ringtones-download.com this week.

My passive income has increased from $8 in March to $11 in April. Still very low, but what can you expect with an average of 15 visitors pr day on my sites. I am working on more backlinks to some of my pages, and I hope that will improve their positions in search engines over the next months.
The stocks I bought where purchased at wrong time, one day later they where down 5%. I do however still belive it is a good investment, so I will hang on to them. It still suck to have lost money, even if its only on the paper.
My plan for May is to create another website, either an affiliate webshop, or a site with static content that uses google adsense.
